Sawadee-ka and welcome to BenThai Products. My name is Benjamas, a Thai name which commonly refers to a “flower”. As a native of Thailand, I was raised in the north eastern area of the country in the city of Udonthani. Udon is a bustling city of 200,000 which is steeped in the traditional culture of Thailand, although still of rural roots and marketplaces. I studied in Chiang Mai University earning a Bachelor Degree in Nursing and worked for many years in the rural hospitals of this region. Although I’m no longer in the heath care industry, my passion for support of rural clinics remains a strong element of our company and a portion of each sale goes toward the ongoing support of these clinics.BenThai Products is a provider of unique wearable and home décor items which reflect the culture of Thailand. The country is rich with native fabrics and materials which I want to introduce to non-Thai markets and in some cases, products of rural origin which are not usually found in typical Thai marketplaces. Our products include Jewelry which is handmade and unique is it composition, Silk apparel and accessories,Purses with a variety of fashion elements, and Home Décor items such as pottery and collectables.
